In Math Grade Three, students build on understanding of place value as they read, write, plot, order and compare numbers up to 10,000. This course focuses on the application of math strategies to solve addition and subtraction equations within 10,000, including real-world application. Students also will learn strategies to solve multiplication and division equations and develop an understanding about the relationship between these operations. By the end of this course, students will be comfortable working with fractions, representing data, identifying quadrilaterals, finding perimeter and area, and solving one- and two-step word problems.Module One: Place Value
